1. About Cards with Carla

Cards with Carla is a digital tarot card reading and personal growth platform. The service provides:

• Daily tarot card pulls with personalised interpretations
• Multi-card spread readings (love, career, shadow work, self-love, decision-making, Celtic Cross, and Carla's Signature Spreads)
• Custom question-based tarot readings
• A personal reading journal to track your tarot journey
• Teach Yourself Tarot learning modules with a certificate of completion
• Ask Carla, a personal guidance chat
• Story Threads, patterns Carla spots across your readings over time
• Your Constellation, a growing star map of your personal tarot journey
• Month in Cards, a monthly reflection and recap
• Living Card video reveals
• Shareable card images and story graphics

The app is created and curated by Carla Gubb. All readings and guidance reflect Carla's personal approach to tarot, offered for entertainment and personal reflection purposes.

2. Subscription Plans

Cards with Carla offers both free and premium access:

• Free: Access to daily card pulls, basic spread readings, journal, and learning modules.
• Carla's Circle (Monthly): R79 per month. Full access to all premium features including personalised readings, custom spreads, Living Card video reveals, and all future premium content.
• Carla's Circle (Annual): R590 per year. The same full premium access at a discounted annual rate.

Prices are in South African Rand (ZAR). Subscription payments are processed securely by Paystack. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges at the selected interval until you cancel.

3. Account Registration

To use Cards with Carla, you need to create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to create an account.

4. Acceptable Use

When using Cards with Carla, you agree to:

• Use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes only
• Not share, resell, or redistribute any content from the app
• Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service
• Not create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits

5. Disclaimer

Tarot readings provided through Cards with Carla are for entertainment, self-reflection, and personal growth purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind, including medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice. Carla is a tarot reader, not a licensed professional in these fields. Always seek qualified professional help for serious matters, and never make an important decision on the strength of a reading alone.

6. How Readings Are Generated

Cards with Carla uses automated technology, including large language models, to generate tarot readings, personalised interpretations, chat responses, and other content within the app. Carla Gubb has designed the personality, tone, spread structures, and interpretive framework that guide all generated content, but individual readings are not written by a human in real time.

By using the service, you acknowledge that the readings and guidance you receive are produced by automated systems following Carla's creative direction, and should be treated as entertainment and personal reflection tools, not as personal advice from a qualified professional.

7. Your Decisions and Limitation of Liability

You are solely responsible for every decision you make and every action you take, whether or not it follows something you read in a Cards with Carla reading, chat, lesson, or any other part of the app. Readings are prompts for reflection. They are not instructions, predictions, recommendations, or professional advice, and they must never be used as a substitute for advice from a qualified doctor, therapist, lawyer, accountant, financial adviser, or other professional.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cards with Carla, Carla Gubb, and anyone involved in operating the service accept no liability for any loss, damage, cost, injury, or other consequence arising from your use of the app or from any decision or action you take in connection with a reading or any content in the app. This includes, without limitation, decisions about your job or business, your money or investments, your health, your relationships, your family, and any legal matter.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us for the service in the three months before the claim arose.

If you are in crisis or you feel unsafe, please contact a medical professional or an emergency service in your country. The app is not a crisis service.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on Cards with Carla, including card artwork, written interpretations, lesson content, and design elements, is the property of Cards with Carla and is protected by copyright. You may share screenshots and generated story images for personal use on social media, but may not reproduce or redistribute the content commercially.

9. Service Availability

We do our best to keep Cards with Carla available around the clock, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
